Belinda Hengel is an infectious disease researcher based with the Kirby Institute, UNSW. Her focus is on reducing the impact of infectious diseases, including sexually transmissible infections and respiratory infections in populations at risk. Belinda has experience in the implementation and evaluation of public health interventions, including molecular point-of-care testing in remote communities and optimizing health service delivery.
