Dr. Jeffrey M. Sturek attended undergraduate school at Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois. He pursued his M.D. and PhD degrees through the Medical Scientist Training (MD-PhD) Program at the University of Virginia (UVA), finishing this program in 2012. He then went on to complete a residency in Internal Medicine at UVA, serving an additional year as chief resident. He followed this up with a fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care at UVA. At the conclusion of his fellowship in 2019, Dr. Sturek stayed on at UVA as an assistant professor of Medicine.
