Assistant Professor of Anthropology, Gettysburg College
I am an Assistant Professor of Anthropology at Gettysburg College. My research and teaching interests intersect archaeology, ethnohistory, and critical cultural heritage, with particular emphasis on community identity and social cohesion in the Postclassic Basin of Mexico. I am also interested in how modern communities in central Mexico construct local identities around shared patrimonies and how these patrimonies are and are not informed by archaeological research.
