
Muriel Leuenberger
Leuenberger is a postdoctoral researcher in the Digital Society Initiative and the Department of Philosophy of the University of Zurich. Her research interests are in ethics of technology / AI, medical ethics (neuroethics in particular), philosophy of mind, meaning in life, philosophy of identity, authenticity, and genealogy.
In her current research proect, Leuenberger investigates the risks and opportunities presented by virtual reality technology and generative AI for meaning in life. Can we build a meaningful relationship with an AI companion or in a virtual space? Does writing a poem with ChatGPT contribute to meaning in life?
