We recommend this Prime Day smartwatch deal: Now at its cheapest-ever price
We've tested fitness trackers for years and we recommend this smartwatch deal — down to its cheapest price for Prime Day in October, with nearly 30% savings.
Fitness trackers don't come cheap, but Amazfit has been offering impressive value in its devices for years.
The company is something of an upstart when it comes to the scene, and it's already putting out quality options across all budgets. What's better than an affordable fitness tracker? An affordable fitness tracker at a discount, of course.
Amazon is offering the Amazfit Active for $80.74 at present, a nearly $30 discount from the MSRP. That's the lowest we've ever seen it.
Save 27% on a fitness tracker that was already great value, with AI-powered training guidance and great battery life. It's also impressively accurate when it comes to GPS tracking, and you can play music directly from the smartwatch, too.
We reviewed the Amazfit Active earlier this year and deemed it one of the better fitness trackers available right now.
In our four-star Amazfit Active review, we knocked it for its cheaper materials but praised its great battery life, lightweight construction, and accurate tracking. It was great value then, but now it's even better.

The Amazfit Active is designed for just that — an active lifestyle. To that end, it's very lightweight, and while that does lead to it feeling cheaper than more expensive watches due to its lack of heft, it does make it easier to use for long periods.
It uses Zepp Coach, a system of AI to build workout plans tailored to each user, allowing you to set targets you want to hit and let the Amazfit guide you there each day.

Some cheaper trackers shy away from GPS, but the Amazfit Active has impressively accurate tracking and route navigation, and the icing on the cake is that it can be used for phone calls and music, too.
All of this for $109.99 was a great deal, but this feels like a steal now.
Key features: 14-day battery life, onboard music storage, Alexa functionality, AI training plans
Product launched: May 2024.
Price history: We've seen prior discounts, but this is Amazon's lowest since the product launched - beating the previous low of £100. Walmart is currently matching Amazon, though.
Price comparison: Amazon: $80.74 | Walmart: $84.99 | Best Buy: $109.99
Reviews consensus: Plastic body aside, the Amazfit Active is a great budget fitness tracker, particularly at under $90. It's comfortable for long periods, weighs half as much as an Apple Watch, and has GPS — a boon in this price range. The AMOLED display is great, too, making it easy to read in just about any lighting condition.
Reviews: Live Science: ★★★★
✅ Buy it if: You want a lightweight fitness tracker on a budget, with AI-curated workout plans that save you from building your own.
❌ Don't buy it if: You want something a little more premium - the Amazfit Active is functional, but it's hardly a head-turner.
